Hello, and welcome to the Karen Harrison Photography blog. I am a wife, a mother, a Mountain Dew addict, an outdoors girl, an animal lover, a sucker for tater tots, and a passionate portrait and wedding photographer. Although I also have a website, I find I have more fun with my blog, as it provides the opportunity to share client sneak peeks, funny stories, and a bit of my personal life as well. I invite you to grab some coffee, take a seat, and spend some time browsing the entries. I love feedback and comments, so feel free to leave one (or ten!).

Leza & Pete 06.28.08 | Tampa Wedding Photography

What a great wedding… Leza and Pete were such a fun-loving and personable couple! Stacey (another Alexis Photographer) and I met the bride at her parents’ house for the preshots. She was such a good sport, and more than willing to go outside, despite the fact that it was H-O-T! She didn’t even mind the spider that decided to befriend her and hang out on her dress!

Leza and Pete’s ceremony was a full traditional Greek ceremony at the beautiful St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Tarpon Springs. The plan was to leave a good amount of time for some wedding party photos before heading to the reception. We hit a little snafu, though, when the limo driver locked the keys in the limo! That meant that yours truly drove the newly wedded couple to their reception. Lucky for them, I had driven my husband’s car, and not mine, so they weren’t forced to share the backseat with a carseat and squished cheerios. :-)

The reception was a great time. It was held at the gorgeous Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club. We stopped and took some photos on the grounds of the resort, and then headed over to the reception, which featured TWO bands (one playing traditional Greek music) and lots of Greek dancing.

Leza and Pete… we had fun with you guys… hope you have fun in HAWAII!
